CHARITY

Cyberbullying knows no bounds — it can happen to anyone. Please, think before you type.

A Message From Marissa (our CEO):

In the Summer of 2019, I was publicly shamed, bullied, harassed and faced defamation for something I didn’t do. This caused me to go into a deep depression. Some days I didn’t know if life was worth living. I cried for months on end, had suicidal thoughts and my short term memory suffered. I would try to go out and fake a smile... but felt a cloud over me at all times.
I persevered with the love of my husband, my family and some close friends. Some people would tell me to just get over it. But, moving forward is never that easy.
This incident brought awareness to my life and made me realize how cruel the internet can be— and how it can severely damage the lives of the effected victims. No one deserves to be bullied or publicly shamed.
If you or anyone you know has been effected by online bullying or defamation— you can always reach out to me (info@shopambitionist.com).  Connecting and hearing from others who went through similar situations; along with speaking to a trained professional was very helpful.
Since the launch of Shop Ambitionist, we donated a portion of every order to charity. We previously donated to Covid-19 relief efforts and Black Lives Matter.  In 2021, 1% of all purchases will go towards the following charities that help bring awareness and healing to the negative and lasting effects of bullying.

You can select one of these charities upon adding an item to your cart. Or, simply leave as is and we will split the donation between all organizations.
